Social responsibility

A message from our Chief Executive

It may be easy for me as our Chief Executive to be full of noble aims and good intentions. But it’s much harder for me to live up to my words and practice what I preach.

At Enrich we do what we say. And we genuinely believe in improving employees’ lives.

So as you might expect, you’ll find that our employee benefits services improve the working conditions of our clients’ staff.  But if you asked our own staff for an opinion we’re confident they’d vote us as an excellent and caring employer too.

We try to maintain the highest ethical standards in every area in which we operate. Yes, of course, business excellence, good financial practice and service innovation are important to us. But we don’t shirk our social and environmental duties.

Explore this site and I doubt you’ll find a more caring, responsible or better company for your needs than ours.

Gordon Wright

Chief Executive

Our people

We know a company is only as good as the people it employs – and, of course, how motivated they are. So in our employment policies we are committed to equal opportunity and we select staff for employment, promotion, training or any other benefit on talent alone. We aim to attract, retain and motivate the best employees regardless of gender, race, disability, sexual orientation, religion, belief or age.

As you’d expect from a company that specialises in motivating employees we strongly believe in effective communication with our staff. So at Enrich we try to actively involve all our employees with our business aims and in our company’s performance.

Small wonder we boast “Investors in People” accreditation.

Health and safety

At Enrich health and safety isn’t simply a matter of obligatory procedure. The health of all our employees is immensely important to us. That’s why we hold quarterly wellness days where top practitioners give advice and health guidance across a variety of areas. They also offer a variety of health related services including massages, flu jabs and life coaching.

Business continuity

A major incident that affects our company needn’t necessarily cause a major disruption, thanks to our business continuity plan. We have the procedures and the crisis management team in place for a swift recovery and the restoration of our business functions and facilities. This includes accounting for all employees, liaison with appropriate parties, damage assessments, recovery timescales and communication to all stakeholders.

Our environment

We think the world of the earth we live in. So we care for the environment.

For example, we try as much as possible never to use paper. In 2007 our electronic document management system helped us to introduce a paperless office environment.

We recycle waste – or at least dispose of it as efficiently as possible. And we encourage our staff and suppliers to be green too. Our transport policy won’t leave you fuming either. We always share cars whenever we can, although we prefer to use public transport, and that includes meetings with our clients. Reducing our carbon footprint leads to reductions in other areas too. Our costs are lower so our charges can be more competitive too.

We take a dim view of any energy wastage, which means the only time you see our offices lit up at night is when we’re working late.  Our IT is energy efficient and our printers are set to hibernate when they’re not in use.

And if our rivals can’t match us, well, at least they can be green with envy.

Our sports and social club

Who says you can’t have fun and games at work?

We play as hard as we work at Enrich so we provide financial support to a social club managed by a committee of employees. Events include social and fundraising activities that are organised throughout the year.

We’ll sponsor our employees who enter in various pursuits too.
